Veli Lošinj

Veli Lošinj is situated in a small protected bay, on the south-eastern side of the island of Losinj. This tiny little town boasts lavish villas and beautiful gardens.

Veli Lošinj is the second largest city and has about 1000 inhabitants. In the past Veli Lošinj (Velo selo) was larger than Mali Lošinj (Malo Selo). Today, the situation is reversed, as Mali Lošinj has evolved through history more rapidly, but the names of places have remained the same.

Near Veli Lošinj there is a fishing harbor Rovenska and the same beach. The rocks reflect the fishermen's ambiance and tradition.
