Sailing Regatta: 10th Agostino Straulino Memorial

This year marks a major milestone with the tenth edition of the "Agostino Straulino" memorial, jointly organized by the Provincial Association of Pesaro and Urbino, the Pesaro Nautical Club and the "JUGO" Nautical Club. The regatta, approximately 76 nautical miles long, is named after the great admiral Agostino Straulino, born in Mali Lošinj and honorary citizen since 2000, a legend of the sea.
The memorial will be held in the now established format of a transfer/sailing regatta from Pesaro to Mali Lošinj, with an arrival on Saturday, May 30, and in the "Paolo Morsiani Trophy" regatta on Sunday, May 31, which will sail around Susak. Several dozen sailboats and support vessels with approximately one hundred participants are expected.
Regatta participants will also be able to admire the exhibition "Tino Straulino, son of the sea and friend of the wind" at Villa Perla, home of the Italian Community of Mali Lošinj, which has been supporting the event for several years.
There will be an award ceremony and gathering, strengthening the culture, values, history, customs and traditions of the two border nations.
